Patient Stretcher

A stretcher, gurney, litter, or pram is a device used for transporting patients who need medical care. The most basic type, known as a cot or litter, requires two or more people to carry it. In contrast, a wheeled stretcher—often referred to as a gurney, trolley, bed, or cart—typically features adjustable height frames and is equipped with wheels, tracks, or skids for easier movement.
